GGH Khammam assists eligible government employees, pensioners, and beneficiaries in processing claims for medical expenses incurred during treatment. Our Medical Reimbursement Cell guides patients through documentation, certification, and submission — helping ensure that genuine medical expenses are reimbursed fairly and without unnecessary delay. Who Can Avail This Service Serving government employees (as per applicable Medical Attendance Rules) Pensioners and their eligible dependents Beneficiaries covered under [Employees Health Scheme / applicable government medical scheme] Patients who received emergency treatment outside GGH Khammam and are eligible for reimbursement under applicable rules Documents Required Original medical bills and payment receipts Prescriptions and treatment records from the treating physician Discharge summary (for in-patient treatment) Essentiality Certificate from the treating doctor / Head of Department Identity proof — Employee ID or Pension Payment Order (PPO) Duly filled Medical Reimbursement Application form Bank account details for direct credit of the reimbursed amount How to Apply — Step by Step Collect Your Records — Gather all original bills, prescriptions, and the discharge summary from the treating department. Get Certification — Obtain the Essentiality Certificate from your treating doctor or the Head of Department, confirming the treatment was necessary. Fill the Application — Complete the Medical Reimbursement Application form, available at the Medical Reimbursement Cell. Submit Documents — Submit the complete set of documents to the Medical Reimbursement Cell / concerned administrative office. Verification & Forwarding — Your application is verified and forwarded to the appropriate sanctioning authority for approval. Reimbursement Credited — Once approved, the sanctioned amount is credited to your registered bank account as per government norms.
